'HYUNDAI PARTECS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) takes the personal information of customers seriously into consideration and abides by the law governing "the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information." The Company uses personal information provided by customers through ways and for purposes stated in our privacy policy, and we are pleased to inform you about the measures we have taken to protect the personal information of our customers. Any amendments to the Company's privacy policy shall be posted on the online notice board (or via personal notice). This policy is effective February 15, 2011.
  • Collection of personal information

    The Company collects the following personal information for recruitment purposes.
    A. Application form: name, resident registration number, password, date of birth, email address, phone number, mobile phone number, address, veteran status, military service, marital status, hobbies, body measurements, family, education, work experience, language, qualifications, overseas training and experience, ID photo, and self-introduction
    B. During customer inquiries: name and email address. In addition, the following information may be generated and collected during business dealings or during the use of services (service record, connection log, cookies, and IP access information).

    The Company uses collected personal information for customer service and personnel recruitment.

  • Sharing of personal information with third parties

    In principle, the Company does not share the personal information of users with external parties, except for the following cases.

    • - Cases where users have agreed beforehand
    • - In accordance to the provisions of an Act or as requested by relevant investigative authorities according to procedures and methods stipulated by the law for investigation purposes
  • Entrustment of collected personal information

    The Company does not entrust the handling of personal information to third parties without the consent of users. Should such a need arise in future, we will notify users of the entrusted party and details of the entrusted task to seek prior consent from users.

  • Retention and use period for collected personal information

    In principle, relevant information is destroyed without delay once the purpose for collection and use of personal information has been achieved. However, the following information is retained for a specified period of time for reasons cited below.

    Job application
    - Retained items: name, resident registration number, password, date of birth, email address, phone number, mobile phone number, address, veteran status, military service, marital status, hobbies, body measurements, family, education, work experience, language, qualifications, overseas training and experience, ID photo, and self-introduction
    - Reason for retention: retention as job application form
    - Period of retention: 6 months
    Customer Inquiries
    - Retained items: name, email address, and created content
    - Reason for retention: retention as customer inquiry resource
    - Period of retention: 6 months
  • Procedures for destruction of personal information

    In principle, the Company destroys relevant information without delay once the purpose for collection and use of personal information has been achieved. The procedures and method for destruction are as follows.

    Procedures for destruction
    - After achieving its purpose, the information given by job applicants during job application is destroyed after a specified retention period on grounds of information protection (see retention and use period) and in accordance to internal policies and other relevant laws.
    - Unless stipulated by law, personal information shall not be used for any purpose other than retention.
    Method for destruction
    - Personal information printed on paper is destroyed through incineration or by shredding using a paper shredder.
    - Personal information stored in electronic files is deleted using technical methods that prevent record regeneration.
  • User and legal representative rights and how to exercise them

    Users may look up their registered personal information and make amendments.
    (However, certain amendments may not be possible when recruitment and other processing are in progress.)

    To look up and amend user information, contact our privacy officer in writing, by phone or by email and action will be taken at once. When users request for a correction of their personal information, relevant information will not be used or provided until the correction is made. Also, if incorrect information was shared with third parties, we will notify them of the corrected information at once and ensure correction on their side. For personal information cancelled or deleted according to user request, the Company will handle it according to the terms stipulated in ‘6. Retention and use period for collected personal information’ and prevent the information from being used or viewed for any other reasons.

  • Installation, operation and rejection of automatic personal information collection programs

    The Company operates cookies that store and search for user information at any time. These cookies are sent by the Company's web server to the user's browser and stored in the user's computer hard disk as small text files. The Company uses cookies for purposes as follows.

    Purpose of cookies
    - To gather information on the time of visit and number of visits etc., and for trend analysis of visits by date and time
    - For information transfer during job application
